Project: Ethnic Women Rising in Aotearoa
Ethnic Women Rising in Aotearoa is a transformative programme by Allyship Projects designed to empower women from diverse ethnic backgrounds to grow, connect, and thrive together in Aotearoa.
This initiative creates a supportive and inspiring space where women can develop practical skills, gain confidence, and build meaningful connections within a strong and uplifting community. It recognises both the challenges and the potential of navigating life, career, and opportunities in a new environment.
Through a structured series of workshops, participants are guided across three key growth pathways, each focused on strengthening independence, knowledge, and long-term success.
Our 3 Growth Pathways
The programme focuses on essential areas that support personal and professional development:
- Financial Confidence
Build practical skills to manage money, make informed decisions, and plan for the future with confidence. - Career Growth
Gain tools and strategies to navigate the job market, improve employability, and advance professionally. - Entrepreneurship
Explore business ideas, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and learn how to turn ideas into opportunities.
A community that grows together
Beyond skills, this programme is about connection. Participants become part of a network of women who support, motivate, and grow alongside each other.
The journey concludes with a Certification Celebration, recognising each participant’s commitment, progress, and achievements.
