Project: Nurturing Latin American Arts
Creating community initiatives to promote ethnic equity
To celebrate and uplift Latin American artists in Aotearoa by providing opportunities to showcase their exceptional talents while fostering a deeper understanding of the emotional and therapeutic benefits of artistic expression.
This project seeks to highlight the richness of Latin American culture, emphasizing how creativity can be a powerful tool for emotional well-being, relaxation, and community building.
By blending artistic skill development with personal growth, participants will not only share their heritage with the local community but also learn how art can serve as a calming and restorative practice in their daily lives.
Project Structure: The project consists of 5 workshops, each lasting 2 hours and a 10-minute break (coffee and snacks provided). Workshops will be conducted weekly on weekends.
Our featured Latin American artists bring years of experience across a rich variety of art forms:

Through this workshop, you’ll discover how artistic expression is deeply intertwined with emotions and personal well-being.
