Project: Ethnic Women Rising in Aotearoa

Ethnic Women Rising in Aotearoa is a programme by Allyship Projects created to empower women from diverse ethnic backgrounds by providing a safe and inspiring space to learn, connect, and grow together.

The programme focuses on 3 key Growth Pathways: Finances, Career, and Entrepreneurship, helping participants build practical skills, confidence, and knowledge to thrive both personally and professionally. Women are encouraged to strengthen their financial wellbeing, expand career opportunities, and explore entrepreneurial ideas within a supportive community environment.

The project includes 9 workshops plus 1 Certification Ceremony, designed to encourage collaboration, shared experiences, and meaningful connections among participants. Each session includes refreshments, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved.

Participants who complete the programme will be recognised during the Certification Ceremony and become part of a growing network of women supporting and uplifting each other across Aotearoa.
